Season 2

Which interior is superior? High pressure and creative egos collide when wannabe interior designers vie for cash to start their own design firm.

"Top Design" offers a behind the scenes look at the creative, competitive and client-driven interior design business at the highest level. The reality series returns with new producers and a new host. Celebrated fashion model and design aficionado, India Hicks, will host the interior design competition series together with world-renowned designer Todd Oldham, who returns as the contestants' mentor. Joining them is Jonathan Adler as head judge, along with Margret Russel, Editor in Chief of Elle Decor magazine, and interior designer Kelly Wearstler as series judges.

In each week, designers will be given two challenges. The first challenge, the Pop Design, is a short challenge that awards immunity. Unlike other immunity challenge competition that happen in the beginning of the show, the "Pop Design" can come at any time to frustrate the designers. The second challenge, the Elimination Challenge, has each contestant, either individually or as part of a team, to create a design based on certain requirements, themes or goals. At the end of the challenge, the designer with the most inhabitable design will be sent packing home - as the India would put it, “I can’t live with your design.”

Aspiring and professional interior design contestants will converge and compete in a series of challenges to create the "Top Design" while living in a a plush Los Angeles loft as they endure a series of design challenges meant to separate the wheat from the chaff while at the same time, inspired and critiqued by professionals who are leaders in their chosen field.
